Nature’s Survival Skills for Business

Woodland Teamwork

The Woodland Skills Experience prepares your team to collaborate to meet tough business objectives by challenging their thinking, stimulating innovation, and testing decision making.

Managers compete in axe throw

Courses are designed to use practical skills to build communication, confidence to use initiative, delegate and lead a group. We encourage and support your workforce during every task and build trust between group members, to help them achieve their highest potential.

With deep engagement in ancestral woodland practices, such as coppicing, bushcraft, traditional material production and nature awareness in completely new surroundings, we provide a memorable event that will hone the problem solving and leadership skills needed to perform well in the workplace.

Sales team survival challenge

Multi-activity days are a great way to break the ice between a new group or celebrate the achievements of an established one. The skills demonstrated, although basic, are ones that most people have little or no experience of. This means that all attendees start from roughly the same point. The emphasis for all is on doing and achieving. Activities are suitable for all members of the workforce regardless of age or gender.

Classic Woodland Day

A Classic Day will include a range of Bushcraft skills, team building and nature awareness activities, which can be varied to meet the aims of the group.

Bushcraft skills include:

•Making fire

•Sustainable foraging for wild food

•Native plant identification and use

•Practical camp craft

•Water collection and purification

•Shelter building

•Observing native wild life

•Camp fire cookery instruction

We can usually cover about three topics in a day, we will contact you to discuss your preferences.
